Maintaining Outlook Group Calendar with OutShare

Maintaining the central calendar in Microsoft Outlook means different things to different people. If you are looking for a centralized view of every person's availability, you can easily obtain it with the OutShare shared Calendars feature. If you want to keep a common (Master) calendar of important company events - the OutShare Public Outlook Calendar folder is your solution. All these workgroup calendar solutions are Exchange free with OutShare, which represents a low-cost, maintenance-free tool for Microsoft Outlook. Because OutShare users have the web access option you will be able to share and manage calendars* of users without Microsoft Outlook.

1.
Microsoft Outlook Shared Calendars - as a groupware option
In previous steps "3" and "5" you could learn how to use and share your Outlook personal Calendar. If you want to see, compare and manage other sharers' availability and their Calendars, simply send them the sharing request*. Their shared Calendars will appear in an easy-to-find Outlook folders structure, and if you own Microsoft Outlook 2003 or 2007, you will be able to see Outlook multiple shared calendars next to your own calendar.

2.   Outlook Public (Corporate) Calendar - the main group calendar option.
For a company (family) events Calendar, you (your team Administrator) can simply create a new Calendar folder in OutShare Outlook Public Folders and grant permissions to users of your choice. Learn more.
In the current version, there is no option to automatically copy public calendar events to your main Personal Outlook Calendar. We are planing to implement it in the future versions of OutShare.
With OutShare, you can create an unlimited number of group calendar folders.
